Job summary

The Falmouth Hotel is seeking a reliable Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for an early riser who takes pride in delivering high-quality dishes within a structured, efficient kitchen environment.

You will prepare breakfast, ensure smooth service, maintain hygiene, set up your station, monitor stock and support the wider team. Weekend and holiday work is expected, with training and progression opportunities available.

• Previous breakfast chef experience in a busy kitchen.

• Reliable, punctual and able to work early shifts.

We are currently seeking a reliable, organised and motivated individual to join the kitchen team at The Falmouth Hotel as Breakfast Chef. This is an ideal role for an early riser who takes pride in delivering consistently high-quality dishes and enjoys working in a structured and efficient kitchen environment.

Job details

• Rate of pay is based on experience and will be discussed at interview.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high-quality breakfast dishes to a consistent standard.
• Ensure smooth and efficient breakfast service.
• Maintain excellent hygiene, cleanliness and food safety practices at all times.
• Set up and organise your section ahead of service.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation.
• Support the wider kitchen team where required.
• Ensure all food is presented to the highest standard in line with brand expectations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar kitchen role.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A reliable and punctual approach, with the ability to work early morning shifts.
• A positive, proactive attitude and passion for quality food.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
