Job summary

The Inn Collection Group is seeking a Breakfast Chef at Ullswater Inn in the Lake District. You will lead your section in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality and hygiene, and coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver a seamless breakfast service.

Ideal candidates are hardworking, eager to learn, and committed to fresh food environments, with the ability to maintain consistent quality from prep to service.

Responsibilities

• Plays a crucial role in the kitchen, taking full responsibility for your section before, during, and after service.
• Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety and quality; ensure proper storage, labelling and dating of all stock.
• Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams; demonstrate strong communication, time-keeping and organisational skills.

You’ll Fit Right Inn

As Breakfast Chef, you’ll play a crucial role in our kitchen, ensuring presentation and attention to detail are key. A natural early riser, punctual and consistent, your experience in a similar role and commitment to fresh food environments will shine through as you take full responsibility for your section before, during, and after service. You will maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and quality, ensuring the appropriate storage, labelling, and dating of all food stock following company policy and legislation.

You’ll work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams, demonstrating strong communication, time-keeping, and organisational skills.
