Job summary

The Masons Arms in Branscombe, part of St Austell Brewery, is seeking a Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team. You’ll work in a busy, early-morning service, preparing dishes to high standards and helping ensure smooth service at the start of the day.

We offer two shift patterns: 07.00 - 12.00 five days per week or 07.00 - 15.00 five days per week. St Austell Brewery supports flexible working, provides great training and progression opportunities, and values a supportive kitchen culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to lead a team to deliver high standards.
• Flexible to early breakfast shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to the pub's standards.
• Work as part of a kitchen team to ensure timely service.
• Follow recipes and kitchen procedures to maintain quality and consistency.

The Masons Arms dates back to the 14th-century and resides in one of the South West’s most picturesque villages. Passing beneath its cosy thatched roof, you’ll be working in a characterful pub with comfy rooms. The interior charms with timber frames, low beamed ceilings, and the warmth of a log fire.

Branscombe is an idyllic rural destination that’s surrounded by rolling green hills, with its own beach being a short stroll from the pub.

Are you an ambitious Chef with experience of working in a fast-paced environment? Join our talented kitchen team and you’ll be working alongside passionate people to provide quality food that delights our guests. As a Chef you will work as a team ensuring the correct procedures are followed and specifications for each dish are precisely met. You will utilise the flexibility enabled by our menu writing processes, to help adapt our offer to meet the needs of our business and our guests.
