Job summary

The Cloud One in London, England is seeking a Breakfast and Bar Assistant (Full-time) to join our team. This versatile role goes beyond a typical waiter/waitress position, covering breakfast preparation, buffet management, kitchen porter duties, bar service support, and guest hosting.

You will open and close shifts, handle cash/ card payments, assist with inventory, and ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained. A flexible, collaborative approach is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in hotel trade or experience in hotel/catering is preferred.
• Proactive team player with guest-hosting skills.
• Flexible, creative, and able to work across departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast items, including bakery and warm dishes for the buffet.
• Refill the buffet according to daily demand.
• Assist with kitchen porter duties including cleaning and dishwashing.
• Clear and clean tables promptly to maintain a tidy dining area.
• Provide hosting by greeting and assisting customers warmly.
• Handle cash and card payments accurately.
• Support bar service, including preparing drinks and maintaining cleanliness.
• Open and close shifts according to procedures.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards throughout the shift.
