ASOS in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser to manage day-to-day trading for a branded product area, forecast sales and stock, and work with Buying teams to plan assortments.

You will analyze performance, build strong internal and external relationships, and drive stock optimisation while supporting junior team members. This role promotes diversity, equity and inclusion and requires in-office presence three days per week.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assistant Merchandiser in fashion/retail/ecommerce.
• Experience forecasting weekly sales, stock and intake.
• Strong data interpretation and trading decision skills.
• Ability to present recommendations in trade meetings.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with merch systems.
• Experience coaching junior team members is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day trading and performance of your branded product area.
• Forecast sales, stock and intake to hit targets.
• Analyze trading performance and identify opportunities and risks.
• Support assortment and range planning with Buying teams.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive stock optimisation to maximise availability and minimise risk.
• Own WSSI management and contribute to trade plans.
• Prepare analyses for weekly trade meetings with senior stakeholders.
• Review KPIs and implement improvement actions.
• Support Merchandising Administrators and Assistants in development.
• Continuously improve processes and reporting.
• Champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives.
