Job summary

ASOS is seeking a Merchandising professional to drive sales and profitability across a global department. You will work with Buyers to plan ranges, manage stock, and ensure the department strategy aligns with global ASOS objectives.

You will analyse performance, build strong supplier relationships, and use data to shape decisions. The role requires advanced Excel and strong stakeholder collaboration to deliver growth.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in Merchandising within a fast-paced global retailer.
• Ability to drive the success of a department through creative and commercial thinking.
• Ability to gain buy-in from the team and management to realise opportunities.
• Strong understanding of the ASOS customer and segmentation and reflects this in decision making.
• Strong systems skills, including advanced Excel and relevant trading systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned sales and profitability through effective planning and in-season trading.
• Regularly analyse department performance to maximise commercial opportunities.
• Collaborate with Buyer to ensure a commercial range aligned to department strategy and global objectives.
• Manage intake and OTB to deliver stock requirements.
• Develop and build strong relationships with suppliers.
• Provide data analysis and insights to aid decision making and gain buy-in for ideas.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of AMs and MAs with constructive feedback.
