As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in managing client relationships, identifying new partnership opportunities, and driving revenue growth. Role & Responsibilites:
Business Development & Revenue Growth
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across fashion, lifestyle, and beauty—expanding our portfolio of brand partners, sponsorships, and innovative revenue streams.
• Manage the sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and track client communications and performance.
• Achieve and exceed personal and business revenue targets.
• Proactively surface ideas and trends, helping brainstorm and identify new partnership opportunities.
Client Relationship Management
• Manage the full client lifecycle, from onboarding to execution, ensuring high-impact, measurable results and strong retention.
• Schedule and attend regular meetings with brand partners to maintain relationships, plan forthcoming activity, and identify new opportunities.
• Deliver data-driven insights and performance reporting to demonstrate ROI and drive renewals.
• Oversee the development of compelling proposals, media kits, and partnership concepts that align with client objectives.
• Lead negotiation of commercial terms and ensure all partnerships comply with legal, brand, and editorial standards.
• Manage multiple and concurrent commercial partnerships—including new business, strategy, activation, and renewals.
• Manage budgets for partnership activations to ensure cost-efficiency and alignment with financial goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate across editorial, marketing, partner growth, and creative teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and brand integration.
• Work with teams on sponsored events, experiences, content & digital activations, and product placement across Collagerie’s online & offline channels.
• Partner with brands, cultural organizations, and media groups to co-create commercial partnerships across events, experiences, collaborations, and bespoke content packages.
Influencer & Creator Engagement
• Identify opportunities for partnerships with influencers and creators to amplify brand campaigns and increase reach.
Internal Reporting & Leadership Communication
• Regularly communicate pipeline updates, campaign performance, and partnership insights to senior leadership.
Key Skills & Experience
• 4+ years in-house or freelance experience, either in a specific partnership / sponsorship role or with proven commercial experience.
• Being proactive is key with strong project management skills, deadline driven and ability to multiple manage projects simultaneously.
• Experience in hiring and growing a team.
• Must have experience establishing and developing productive relationships with brands, clients and suppliers.
• Strong writing and communications skills, as well as excellent presentation (keynote and/or PowerPoint) skills.
• Knowledge of Google Drive and documents for daily use, as well as mid-level excel skills (confident with formulae).
• Experience in drafting contracts preferred.
• Relevant UK contacts, ideally across multiple industries such as fashion, retail, interiors, beauty and technology.
• Firm understanding and experience with event curation and production.
• Keen interest in industry trends, keeping the team updated with newsworthy and relevant information.
