The Group has expanded its publishing brands to a wider scope, encompassing Hypebeast and its multiple content distribution platforms, creative agency Hypemaker, and e-commerce and retail platform HBX.

We are recruiting for a Brand Partnerships Director to drive media sales & brand partnerships for Hypebeast & Hypebae in the UK.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate with a proven record in media sales, plus a demonstrable passion for digital media and innovation. Someone who loves our platforms and is experienced in generating significant revenue from UK-based agencies and clients.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate with the vision to produce leading-edge, multi-platform, social & digital programs for the world’s premium advertisers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Generate significant advertising revenue by growing relationships with UK-based media agencies, PR agencies, and clients.
  2. Solicit RFPs as well as unlock proactive new business opportunities.
  3. Sell online, offline, and bespoke advertising solutions across all Hypebeast platforms.
  4. Create compelling sales propositions utilizing consumer trends, market knowledge, and data-driven insights.
  5. Understand client requirements, brief the creative planning teams, and pitch creative proposals.
  6. Coordinate with Account Servicing teams to ensure delivery of successful ad campaigns.
  7. Provide accurate forecasting & reporting.
  8. Represent Hypebeast at events and serve as a brand ambassador, communicating our core narratives and reinforcing the leading position Hypebeast holds in the marketplace.

Requirements:

  1. 5-7 years of media sales experience, with a proven track record of achieving revenue goals.
  2. Strong, existing relationships with mid/senior level UK clients & agencies.
  3. Outstanding communications and negotiation skills.
  4. Flawless presentation skills, and the ability to lead strategic conversations that navigate the needs of Hypebeast and the client.
  5. In-depth knowledge of digital media business and agency partner requirements.
  6. Ability to drive revenue in a fast-paced, highly-creative organization.
  7. Highly organized and results-driven.
  8. A drive for success at a personal, team, and corporate level.
