Job Summary

The Brand Partnership Sales Manager is a key role within the London-based EMEA ad sales organization, responsible for driving global brand partnership sales from UK-based advertising agencies and international territories for Nat Geo and the Disney Advertising portfolio. The role involves managing media partners and all aspects of partnership campaigns, from pitch to delivery: lead generation, client management, and collaboration with internal teams across Creative, Operations, Editorial, Finance, and Accounting. The role also entails working with international team members and independent sales representatives in the region to generate revenue.

In this role, you will be accountable for managing client and agency relationships, with a focus on building agency relations with content and strategy teams, and for revenue accountability across multiple markets.

This is an office-based role, with 4 days in the Hammersmith, London office, and 1 day working from home.

The Opportunity & Responsibilities:

  1. Drive regional sales revenue for Nat Geo media through advertising and custom content partnerships across platforms: Digital, Social, Print, TV & Streaming.
  2. Focus on proactive new business development & lead generation, securing new briefs/RFPs, and achieving revenue targets contributing to FY budgets.
  3. Present regularly to clients across EMEA and other markets on Nat Geo and Disney Advertising portfolio, sharing partnership opportunities.
  4. Act as the dedicated lead contact for a portfolio of media agencies and brands, representing Nat Geo and engaging with key clients and account teams.
  5. Lead sales efforts in specific industry categories across international markets, using industry insights to develop strategies, build networks, and close deals.
  6. Serve as the point of contact for international teams & independent sales reps based on territory.
  7. Oversee all aspects of partnership deals, from pitch to campaign delivery, collaborating with creative and media teams.
  8. Support Partnerships Director with existing campaigns as needed.
  9. Collaborate with regional Partnerships Sales teams on global accounts with a significant presence in UK, Europe, and APAC.
  10. Work with Disney Advertising teams to present the Disney+ ad tier to key Nat Geo clients internationally.
  11. Maintain an accurate pipeline and provide timely forecasts.
  12. Promote the National Geographic brand and portfolio at industry events.

The Experience We Require From You:

  1. Graduate level or equivalent experience.
  2. Proven experience in digital media sales/partnerships.
  3. Previous managerial experience.
  4. Experience working with clients and agencies.
  5. Track record of delivering revenue growth through media partnerships.
  6. Strong knowledge of multimedia platforms including digital & TV.
  7. Ambitious self-starter driven to meet sales targets.
  8. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
