Job summary

Quine Ltd is seeking a driven Brand & Community Manager to enhance our presence in Scotland's cultural landscape. This part-time hybrid role will involve cultivating brand partnerships, managing content across platforms, and driving engagement through campaigns and community-building efforts. Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in content, media, events, marketing, or communications.
  • Strong contacts book with proven experience working with brands and agencies.
  • Experience running or contributing to events and community-led campaigns.

Success in this role means expanding our brand and advertiser network, delivering standout content across platforms, increasing reader engagement, and growing our presence through events, social media, and partnerships. Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brand partners, collaborators, and advertisers
  • Pitch and negotiate creative partnerships, packages, and content opportunities
  • Manage inbound and outbound sales communications, with a proactive, self-starting approach
  • Lead on content planning and delivery across Instagram, TikTok, newsletters and website
  • Film and edit video content and reels
  • Work closely with the Editor to oversee campaigns, partnerships, and influencer-led content
  • Project manage events (from reader events to brand activations), from concept to delivery
  • Be the face of the brand at events and activations
  • Stay on top of trends across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and women’s culture
  • Ensure all editorial content is optimised for SEO, including writing and uploading articles
  • Contribute creative ideas for growing Quine’s community both online and offline
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in content, media, events, marketing, or communications
  • A strong contacts book and proven experience working with brands, agencies, or PRs
  • Confident negotiating deliverables, fees, and contracts
  • Skilled in Canva, CapCut (or similar) Instagram Reels, TikTok, video editing, and visual storytelling
  • Comfortable writing engaging copy for web, email, and social
  • Confident using WordPress, email marketing tools (e.g. Mailchimp), and social schedulers
  • Experience running or contributing to events and community-led campaigns
  • A strong understanding of SEO and how to publish content that ranks
  • A self-starter with commercial instincts and a collaborative, curious mindset

Location:

This is a remote role with flexibility, but applicantsmust be based in Scotland. You’ll be required to work inGlasgow and Edinburgh on a weekly basis, attending shoots, events, press launches, and interviews. A confident, self-led approach to managing your own schedule and being on the ground when needed is essential.
