Job summary

Hugh Baird College is seeking an Activations Assistant on a maternity cover basis to support prospective students from application through enrolment. You will handle admissions queries, data entry, and event support in a busy Brand Marketing and Activations Team at Balliol Road, Liverpool.

The role is full-time (35 hours per week) and held at Hugh Baird College - Main Campus with a comprehensive benefits package and generous holiday.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, customer-focused environment.
• Experience using computerised systems for data input and retrieval.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for admissions enquiries via phone, email and other channels.
• Process student applications, interview outcomes and admissions information on College systems.
• Support applicants throughout the admissions and enrolment process.
• Assist with organising and delivering recruitment, admissions and enrolment events.
• Maintain accurate records and confidential student information.
• Produce basic reports and support UCAS records management.
• Welcome visitors and support campus tours and recruitment activities.
• Collaborate with curriculum teams to enhance the applicant experience.
