Job summary

Hugh Baird College, an Ofsted Outstanding provider in the Liverpool City Region, is recruiting an Activations Assistant to join the Brand Marketing and Activations Team on a maternity cover basis. The role focuses on supporting prospective students from application to enrolment, delivering an outstanding applicant experience.

You will work closely with the Activations Manager and other departments to manage admissions, respond to enquiries, coordinate events, and support student recruitment

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, customer-focused environment.
• Experience using computerised systems for data input and retrieval.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for admissions enquiries via telephone, email and other channels.
• Process student applications, interview outcomes and admissions information on college systems.
• Support applicants throughout the admissions and enrolment process.
• Assist with organising and delivering recruitment, admissions and enrolment events.
• Maintain accurate records and confidential student information.
• Produce basic reports and support data management including UCAS records.
• Welcome visitors and support campus tours and recruitment activities.
• Collaborate with curriculum teams to provide an excellent applicant experience.
• Support Open Events, Admissions Evenings, Learner Experience Days and other events.
• Occasional evening and weekend working as required.
