Job summary

Leyton Sixth Form College is seeking an advisor to join the Admissions and Advice team. You will guide prospective students for our range of courses and entry criteria, and handle the administration of applications and enrolment.

You will also assist current students with course changes, timetables and UCAS references. The role requires excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, initiative and the ability to work in a supportive manner.

Job description

Reports to: Admissions Team Leader

Salary: Main scale 7, £30,950 - 33,727 per annum.

Hours of work: 36 hours per week, Fixed Term (Maternity Cover).

Contract: Fixed term for one year (Maternity Cover).

Start Date: As soon as possible.

We are presently seeking an advisor to join our dedicated Admissions and Advice team. The college has proudly maintained a consistently high level of student admissions over a number of years.

You will provide guidance to potential students seeking advice for our varied range of courses and entry criteria, and undertake the administration associated with student applications and enrolment. You will also have the opportunity to assist our current students with course changes, timetables and UCAS references.

You should have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. The ability to pay attention to detail, work in a supportive manner and use initiative are equally important to the role
