Securitas UK is seeking a vigilant security professional to help protect people, property, and information. You will perform active patrols, thorough searches, and detailed record-keeping while delivering exceptional customer service to staff and visitors.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, a UK driving licence with access to a vehicle, and flexibility to work days, nights and weekends. You must have the right to work in the UK and a 5-year checkable history, and strong English communication

Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Active Patrols: Regularly patrol designated areas to detect and deter suspicious activity. Your vigilance will ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone
• Thorough Searches: Conduct detailed searches, following our comprehensive company policies and procedures. Your meticulous attention to detail will help keep our restricted areas safe
• Detailed Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork related to security incidents and observations
• Effective Communication: Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors and various external authorities to report incidents and coordinate responses to security issues
• Exceptional Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, and guests with professionalism and courtesy

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• A valid SIA licence.
• Driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
• Due to site and role requirements, candidates must be eligible to obtain (SC) Security Clearance. This requires applicants to hold British nationality, possess a valid British passport, and have lived continuously in the UK for the past five years.
• Good communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
