Job summary

Securitas UK is hiring a security professional to help keep people, property and information safe on site. The role focuses on access control, alarm monitoring, CCTV, and regular patrols, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and reliable, responsible conduct.

The ideal candidate holds an SIA Licence, driving licence (preferred), and can work days, nights and weekends. You must have the right to work in the UK and good English communication.

Responsibilities

• Prevent unauthorized access, monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV

• Carry out routine tests of security equipment
• Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties
• Ensure equipment provided by the customer and Securitas is managed per instructions
• Maintain all logbooks and records
• Issue visitor/contractor passes
• Deal with lost property

Responsibilities

You’ll play an important role in keeping people, property, and information secure. Your responsibilities will include:

• Prevent and deter unauthorized access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV as appropriate.
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Provide traffic control and apply parking restrictions as required.
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate.
• Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Ensure any equipment provided by the customer and Securitas is managed in accordance with procedures detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.
• Deal with lost property in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.
