Job summary

Securitas UK is hiring a security professional in Cambourne to protect people, property and information across site operations. You will monitor alarms, CCTV and access control, perform patrols, manage keys and keep accurate records, and provide guidance to staff and visitors.

Ideal candidates hold valid SIA and CCTV licences, have at least 3 years of security experience, and possess excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence.
• Valid CCTV licence.
• 3+ years security experience.
• Knowledge of access control systems.
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
• Punctual and reliable; strong communication in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate
• Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
• Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises
