Job summary

A long-established Electrical Wholesaler based in Nottingham is recruiting for a Branch Supervisor/Assistant Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for internal sales duties, assisting in other areas of the branch as needed and supporting/overseeing the internal team.

Key responsibilities include overseeing trade counter, sales and warehouse staff, ensuring smooth branch operations in the manager's absence, and building relationships with customers to provide a customised service

Qualifications

• Experience in Electrical Wholesale industry.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and overseeing trade counter, sales and warehouse staff within the branch
• To ensure the smooth running of the branch in the Branch Managers absence.
• Building relationships with a variety of customers in different market segments to provide a customised service offering
• Support the busy trade counter, serving customers face-to-face
• Proactive and reactive telephone sales
• Actively chasing quotes for feedback and order progression
• Producing timely and accurate customer quotations
