Job summary

Eyre & Elliston Ltd. is recruiting a Branch Supervisor for our SPD Hayes. You will support the Branch Manager with daily branch operations, account management, sales activity and stock control in a busy wholesale environment.

The role suits someone with experience in electrical wholesale or trade counter sales, confident with customers and able to lead a team in a fast-paced setting. Monday–Friday, with bonus opportunities and events.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical wholesale, trade supply or merchanting.
• Strong commercial awareness and sales focus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Confident telephone manner during customer contacts.
• Attention to detail when processing orders and stock data.
• Ability to work well in a team in a busy branch.
• Organised and reliable with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager in day-to-day running of the branch.
• Oversee branch operations in the Branch Manager’s absence.
• Process quotations, sales orders and customer enquiries accurately.
• Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Help grow branch sales and profitability through account development.
• Contact regular spending accounts, follow up dormant accounts and identify new opportunities.
• Assist customers on trade counter and by telephone.
• Support branch in achieving sales targets and service standards.
• Help manage stock levels, ordering and stock control.
• Liaise with suppliers to support customer requirements.
• Assist with general branch administration and daily tasks.
