Job summary

Arco in Manchester is seeking a Branch Sales Advisor for a full-time role with standard hours Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00 and occasional Saturday mornings. You’ll engage customers in-store and via visits, promote products and services, handle queries, and maintain a welcoming, safe store environment.

Full training will be provided on PPE and health and safety products, with opportunities to learn, develop and progress within Arco.

Qualifications

• Experience of working face to face with customers
• Understanding of what makes a great customer experience
• Comfortable making promotional calls to business customers
• Understanding of IT systems to process transactions and respond to customer enquiries
• Flexibility to cover colleague shifts (team absence, holidays)
• Full UK Driving Licence is required to help cover branch deliveries when required

Responsibilities

• Delivering outstanding levels of customer service
• Interacting with customers in store, on the phone and on customer visits to promote products and services
• Providing a great shopping environment for customers, ensuring stores are clean, tidy and presentable
• Processing customer transactions and responding to enquiries using bespoke IT software
• Drive a commercial van to visit customer sites with deliveries to cover holidays and sickness
