Job summary

LKQ Europe is hiring a Branch Assistant to join our busy Tees Valley branch. This hands-on role combines customer deliveries, warehouse operations and branch support to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

You'll deliver products, help at the trade counter and keep the branch running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. No two days are the same, and you'll be part of a close-knit team focused on service excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a delivery driving, warehouse, logistics or branch support role.
• A full, clean UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• An understanding of safe working practices and Health & Safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely, accurately and on time, ensuring every customer receives excellent service.
• Build positive relationships with customers and represent the business professionally at every opportunity.
• Support Click & Collect customers and assist at the trade counter when needed.
• Help resolve customer queries and contribute to a positive customer experience.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with goods receiving, stock movements and dispatch activities.
• Maintain excellent stock accuracy through daily stock checks and inventory procedures.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks before every journey.
• Ensure company vehicles remain clean, roadworthy and compliant with company standards.
• Use delivery technology, including ePOD systems and handheld devices, accurately and effectively.
