Job summary

LKQ in the United Kingdom is seeking a Branch Assistant to keep the branch moving, delivering outstanding service and supporting both deliveries and warehouse operations. You’ll be part of a busy team, aiding trade counters and Click & Collect, while ensuring stock availability and safety compliance.

You’ll work across driving, loading/unloading, and customer-facing tasks, developing skills and contributing to customers’ day-to-day experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivery driving, warehouse, logistics or branch support.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of Health & Safety best practices.
• Basic IT skills and comfort with handheld devices.
• Flexible, reliable, team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely, accurately and on time, providing excellent service.
• Build relationships with customers and represent the business professionally.
• Assist Click & Collect customers and at the trade counter as needed.
• Resolve customer queries and contribute to a positive experience.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders accurately.
• Assist with goods receiving, stock movements and dispatch.
• Maintain stock accuracy through daily checks and stock procedures.
• Support stock takes and ensure safe, correct storage of products.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and keep company vehicles clean and roadworthy.
• Use delivery tech and handheld devices accurately and effectively.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures in branch, warehouse and deliveries.
• Handle stock safely to minimise damage and maintain quality.
• Attend training and compliance activities.
• Support audits, governance, and operational controls.
• Attend daily team briefings and collaborate across the branch.
• Support continuous improvement and achieve targets.
• Develop skills through training and become a multi-skilled team member.
