Job summary

Frazer, part of STARK Building Materials UK, is seeking a Branch Operations Manager for the Exeter branch. You will lead day-to-day branch operations across warehouse, transport and customer activities, working closely with the Branch Director on performance and improvements.

You will manage teams, uphold health and safety standards, optimise service levels, and ensure stock accuracy and timely deliveries while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in civils, infrastructure, utilities, building materials or related industry preferred.
• Experience managing warehouse and transport operations.
• Proven leadership with an inclusive, collaborative style.
• Strong customer-first approach and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for day-to-day operation of the branch, including warehouse, transport and customer activities.
• Lead and support warehouse and transport teams, ensuring daily operations are planned and run efficiently.
• Oversee customer orders, deliveries and stock management to maintain high service levels and accuracy.
• Work with Branch Director on branch performance, reporting and improvements.
• Ensure health and safety, housekeeping and compliance across the branch.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service levels and customer experience.
