Job summary

Euro Car Parts Ltd. is seeking a Duty Manager to lead a busy branch, reporting to the Branch Manager and working with fellow Duty Managers to drive safe, efficient and customer-focused operations across retail, warehouse and fleet.

You will coach and develop a high-performing team while ensuring stock accuracy and KPI delivery. You will also oversee Click & Collect, deliveries and fleet readiness, maintaining high presentation standards and a strong commercial mindset in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience within retail, warehouse, logistics or distribution.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing teams.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience managing KPIs and operational performance.
• A customer-focused mindset with a drive to deliver outstanding service.
• Good knowledge of stock control and operational processes.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to influence business performance.
• Confidence working with operational systems and reporting tools.
• A flexible approach and the ability to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the branch across retail, warehouse and fleet operations.
• Coordinate resources to ensure smooth, efficient operations and excellent customer service.
• Drive operational excellence by maintaining company standards, policies and procedures.
• Manage stock accuracy, inventory control and stock take activities.
• Ensure pick-to-manifest targets and customer service SLAs are consistently achieved.
• Oversee returns, warranties and reverse logistics processes.
• Support Click & Collect and delivery operations.
• Ensure fleet compliance, vehicle readiness and operational efficiency.
• Coach, motivate and develop colleagues across all operational areas.
• Deliver engaging daily team briefings.
• Conduct performance conversations and development plans.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and succession planning.
• Create a positive, inclusive and customer-focused culture.
• Build a flexible, multi-skilled team.
