Job summary

Switch in St Albans is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to lead a dynamic team and ensure the efficient functioning of the branch. You will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating with various departments to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and work under pressure.
• Self-starter with a positive approach to team development and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and lead by example.
• Previous experience in the car rental industry or a related field.
• Excellent communication and administrative skills.
• Computer skills (email, spreadsheets, and in-house systems).
• Full driving licence (held for 12 months at least).

Responsibilities

• Identify and convert sales opportunities and motivate the team.
• Ensure comprehensive training for yourself and colleagues.
• Manage all Switch processes in line with audit criteria.
• Work within Service Level Agreements and drive performance.
• Safeguard the branch and its assets, reporting any risks.
• Maintain effective communication with your Senior Location Manager and colleagues.
• Proactively manage your time to ensure branch performance.
