Job summary

LKQ’s Aberdeen branch is seeking a Branch Assistant to keep operations running smoothly. You’ll perform delivery driving, warehouse tasks and friendly trade counter service to support customers and colleagues.

You’ll join a close-knit team, with training provided and opportunities to grow within the UK/Europe network. A full UK driving license and a proactive, safety-conscious approach are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivery driving, warehouse, logistics or branch support roles.
• Full, clean UK driving licence is required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely, accurately and on time, ensuring excellent service.
• Build positive relationships with customers and represent the business professionally.
• Support Click & Collect customers and assist at the trade counter.
• Help resolve customer queries and contribute to a positive customer experience.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with goods receiving, stock movements and dispatch activities.
• Maintain stock accuracy through daily checks and inventory procedures.
• Support stock takes and ensure proper storage of products.
• Help maintain shelf availability and warehouse organization.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and keep company vehicles compliant.
• Use delivery technology and handheld devices accurately and effectively.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures in the branch, warehouse and during deliveries.
• Handle stock safely to minimise damage and maintain quality standards.
• Complete mandatory training and compliance activities.
• Support branch audits and governance requirements.
• Attend daily team briefings and contribute ideas to improve branch performance.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
• Develop skills through ongoing learning and training.
