Adore Recruitment Ltd in Basildon, Essex, is seeking a hands-on Branch Manager to run the day-to-day operations of the Basildon branch. You will lead a small team, build client relationships, and drive performance with autonomy and close collaboration with senior management.

The role offers £45,000 per year with a performance bonus and a Monday–Friday 7am–4pm schedule, providing stability and clear accountability for growth and service excellence.

Our client is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of their Basildon branch. The Role:

• Overseeing the daily operation of a busy branch, including office and warehouse activities.
• Leading, motivating and supporting a small team to achieve business objectives.
• Building strong relationships with customers and ensuring excellent service levels.
• Managing stock, resources and operational processes efficiently.
• Supporting sales growth and identifying opportunities to develop existing and new business.
• Monitoring branch performance and implementing improvements where required.
• Recruiting, training and developing team members.
• Ensuring health and safety and company procedures are maintained at all times.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous management experience within a branch, warehouse, distribution, trade counter, builders merchants, construction supplies or similar environment.
• Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach.
• Commercially minded with the ability to drive performance and service.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
• Organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple responsibilities.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and standard business systems.
