General Branch Manager(Sales Focus)(Wholesale/Retail/Warehouse/Sales/Operations)

Location: Aberdeen, Scotland. Must live within 30 min commutable distance of Aberdeen.

Salary: £50-60k DOE & Profit Share/Bonus(*Control your own destiny / Can be substantial)!

Our client, a leader in the engineering and construction products wholesale sector, is seeking a dynamic Profit Centre Manager/General Manager to oversee all operations and develop key accounts across northern Scotland. With autonomy to shape your territory, this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Account and Territory Development: Strengthen and develop long-term relationships with clients and suppliers to outpace competitors. Revive areas of declining sales and establish your territory as the preferred supplier choice.
  2. Range & Relationship Development: Collaborate with market-leading suppliers to drive innovation and product range expansion in key accounts.
  3. Sales Leadership: Manage and inspire field sales teams and account managers, ensuring they hit targets and exceed expectations.
  4. Operational Oversight: Oversee warehouse operations and logistics to ensure efficient stock management and timely distribution.
  5. Financial Management: Lead the finance team, manage budgets, and ensure financial performance meets business goals.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Proven experience in sales and business management.
  2. Entrepreneurial spirit with a history of driving growth in competitive markets.
  3. Ability to build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships.
