Job summary

Nationwide in Caernarfon, Wales is seeking a Branch Manager to lead the team on the high street and ensure the best customer experience. You will train and motivate staff, implement the branch business plan, and uphold service excellence while complying with FCA standards and banking regulations.

The role is permanent, full-time (35 hours per week, Monday to Saturday), with virtual in-branch training and a strong development pathway within Nationwide.

Qualifications

• Ability to take control of the branch and lead a team.
• Experience in managing people in a busy retail environment.
• Commercial understanding and knowledge of financial regulations.
• Previous branch manager experience in retail is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the branch floor and ensure your team is trained and performing at their best.
• Manage high customer expectations with in-depth knowledge of products and services and implement the branch business plan.
• Stay organized in a busy environment, while delivering the best service with support from the management team.
