Job summary

Nationwide Hartlepool is hiring a Customer Representative to welcome members into our branches and guide them through digital services and self-service options in the banking hall.

You will help customers with their finances, identify additional needs, and route them to specialists when necessary. Training will be provided to cover products, services and fraud protection, with a flexible Monday–Saturday shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to resolve issues and handle complaints.
• Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with Nationwide members.
• Can work well in a team under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members into our branches and explain how to use digital services and self-service tech in the banking hall.
• Guide customers through products, services and processes with clear, friendly guidance.
• Identify additional needs during conversations and pass them to the appropriate expert colleague.
• Provide guidance on fraud protection to help customers avoid scams.
