Job summary

Total Plumbing Ammanford is seeking a reliable Branch Assistant/Van Driver to join our team. The role blends on-the-road delivery with branch and warehouse support, ensuring safe, professional service to customers and smooth day-to-day operations.

You'll split time between delivering goods and assisting in stock preparation, loading, and shopfloor duties. A valid UK driving licence and strong customer service are essential; forklift training can be provided if needed.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A smart, professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Flexible approach to supporting different areas of branch operations.
• Forklift truck certification is desirable (training can be provided).

Responsibilities

• As a Driver: safely operate company vehicles, perform daily vehicle inspections, secure loads and obtain delivery signatures, keep vehicles tidy and roadworthy.
• As a Branch Assistant: serve customers in the branch, prepare stock for delivery, assist with loading and warehouse organisation, receive goods and support stock checks.
• Support with health & safety standards and showroom/warehouse upkeep.
