Job summary

LBS Builders Merchants is seeking a branch relief at Ammanford/Pembroke Dock to deliver exceptional customer service. You will handle transactions, assist with sales, and ensure accurate order preparation for deliveries and stock transfers.

The role involves loading, stock replenishment, and maintaining a safe, well-organised branch environment. Forklift training is provided if needed, with a 41.25-hour week Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-class service to customers in person and over the phone.
• Assist with sales by processing transactions and forwarding leads.
• Accurately pick and prepare orders for deliveries, collections, and stock transfers.
• Load vehicles on the yard and ensure safe storage of goods.
• Maintain stock levels, replenish shelves, and keep displays well-presented.
• Handle supplier deliveries, check quality and quantity of goods.
• Keep branch, yard, and warehouse safe, clean, and well-organised.
• Operate forklifts safely (training provided if required).
