Job summary

Total Plumbing is seeking a Branch Assistant (Civils) in Pembroke Dock, Pembrokeshire, United Kingdom. You’ll provide first-class service to customers in person and by phone, process transactions, and prepare orders for deliveries. You’ll help keep the branch and yard organized and stock well-presented.

The role includes loading vehicles, managing deliveries, and assisting across tasks in a fast-paced environment. Forklift training is available, and a profit-share bonus scheme is offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-class service to every customer, in person and over the phone.
• Support with sales by processing transactions, raising paperwork, and forwarding leads.
• Accurately pick and prepare orders for deliveries, collections, and stock transfers.
• Loading vehicles on the yard and ensure goods are stored safely.
• Maintain stock levels, replenish shelves, and keep displays well-presented.
• Handle supplier deliveries, checking quality and quantity of goods.
• Keep the branch, yard, and warehouse safe, clean, and well-organised.
• Operate forklifts safely (training provided if required).

Locations covered: Ammanford and Pembroke Dock

Are you friendly, hardworking, and customer-focused? We’re looking for a Branch relief to join our busy team. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll play a key part in delivering excellent service to our customers while keeping the branch running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

Hours of work: An average of 41.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm.
