Job summary
Stevenswood Trade Counters Ltd is seeking a Branch Assistant for the Gateshead branch. You will work Monday to Thursday 7:30 am-4:30 pm and Friday 7:30 am-3:30 pm, with weekends off.
You will provide outstanding customer service, maintain branch standards, support with orders, quotes and promotions, and assist the manager with information and accounts. You will also help with stock, banking, and KPI targets, while representing the company professionally and contributing to a positive branch
Qualifications
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Ability to use industry software to generate quotes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the customer database and keep information up-to-date.
- Assist with end of day banking and reporting.
- Maintain branch standards of organisation, efficiency and cleanliness.
- Keep customers updated on orders, quotes and promotions.
- Assist the manager with information collation and delivery.
- Assist customers with all aspects of their account.
- Accept cash payments in line with company standards.
- Help achieve branch KPI targets set by the manager.
- Understand product knowledge and promotions.
- Drive sales and opportunities in branch with existing or lapsed customers.
