Superior Healthcare is seeking a Brain Injury Rehabilitation Assistant to support a client in New Romney. The role involves managing complex clinical care and a rehabilitation plan within the client’s home, ensuring safety and independence.

Training covers care standards and advanced skills before your first shift. Applicants should have experience in complex care or neuro-rehab, a full UK driving licence, and a commitment to at least two 12-hour shifts per week.

• Full UK driving licence and confidence driving a mobility vehicle.
• Commitment to a minimum of two 12-hour shifts per week.

• Ability to follow physiotherapy and rehabilitation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex clinical care, including PEG feeding, catheter care, and medication administration
• Support physiotherapy and rehabilitation goals to maximise independence
• Encourage participation in daily living activities and personal goals
• Plan and facilitate meaningful activities, outings, and community access
• Drive the client's mobility vehicle to appointments and social activities
• Monitor wellbeing and report any changes or concerns
• Work alongside family members and healthcare professionals to support outcomes
• Provide person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice, and independence

Brain Injury Rehabilitation Assistant – New Romney

About the client: We are seeking a confident and proactive Complex Care Assistant to support a gentleman living with an acquired brain injury in his own home in New Romney.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in physiotherapy, rehabilitation, neuro-rehabilitation, support work, or promoting independence following a neurological injury. You will play a key role in supporting the client’s daily routines, mobility goals, and physical rehabilitation programme, helping them maintain and develop their independence wherever possible.

• Location: New Romney

• Shift Pattern: 8 hour day shifts or 12 hour night shifts

• Client Focus: One client per shift

• Rota: Set rota with optional overtime

All new team members attend a week-long, fully funded classroom training program. You'll learn everything from the Care Certificate standards to advanced skills like gastrostomy and tracheostomy care - preparing you confidently for your first shift.
