Sloane Square Hotel, a 100-bedroom independent boutique hotel on Sloane Square in Chelsea, seeks a Reservations Agent to convert enquiries into confirmed stays and ensure guests are looked after before arrival.

You will handle reservations across phone, email and online channels, maintain accurate bookings and rates, assist with front desk duties, and collaborate with Front Office and Housekeeping to ensure smooth arrivals while implementing revenue strategies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel reservations or reception (essential).
• An excellent telephone manner and clear written and spoken communication.
• A warm, guest-first approach to customer service.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, even at busy times.
• Experience with hotel booking or property management systems (desirable).
• Fluency in additional languages (an advantage).
• Availability to work Monday to Saturday on a rota basis.
• The right to work in the UK.

Responsabilités

• Handle reservations by phone, email and online channels, from first enquiry to confirmation.
• Keep bookings, rates and guest requests accurate in our booking systems.
• Answer guests’ questions about rooms, packages and the local area.
• Support the front desk with reception duties when required.
• Work closely with the Front Office and Housekeeping teams so every arrival runs smoothly.
• Follow revenue strategies to maximise sales.
• Handle group and event bookings.
