Job summary

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Paediatric Booking Officer to support Yeovil District Hospital and Musgrove Park Hospital with efficient administrative and booking duties. The role is based at Yeovil District Hospital with occasional duties at Wynford House, Lufton, Yeovil.

You will also provide reception support to Paediatric Outpatients as required by the manager to help meet service requirements, and you must be flexible to work across multiple hospital systems.

Job description

The role of the Paediatric Booking Officer will be required to provide efficient and effective administrative and booking duties for Yeovil District Hospital and Musgrove Park Hospital and wider staff, based at Yeovil District Hospital and occasionally at Wynford House, Lufton, Yeovil. The team member will also provide reception support to Paediatric Outpatients at Yeovil District Hospital as required and requested by the manager to support service requirements. The post requires flexibility and the ability to provide a wide range of administrative skills using multiple hospital systems.
