Job summary

AutoSkills is seeking an experienced Bodyshop Manager in Cardiff to lead the day-to-day operations of a modern Accident Repair Centre, ensuring high-quality repairs, safety and excellent customer service.

Working Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm with paid breaks, you can achieve an OTE of up to £86,400. The role offers career progression, a strong team culture, pension contributions and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Practical experience as Bodyshop Manager, Accident Repair Centre Manager or Workshop Manager.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to coach a team to hit daily targets.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Focus on quality, customer service and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Bodyshop team to achieve daily targets.
• Conduct daily morning meetings and allocate workload.
• Manage vehicles entering and on-site.
• Monitor workflow and repair progress with Regional Manager.
• Ensure parts are ordered in advance and stock levels are managed.
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and complete job packs.
• Monitor repair quality at every stage.
• Maintain clear customer communication and repair updates.
• Promote safe, organized workshop environment.
• Support development and performance of the team.
