Job summary

Pybus Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Bodyshop Manager to lead a busy Accident Repair Centre in Cardiff. You will oversee daily operations, manage workflow, and drive productivity while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

The role requires a proven leadership track record in vehicle repair environments and the ability to coordinate teams, parts, and management systems to meet targets and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Bodyshop Manager, Workshop Manager, or similar leadership role within the accident repair industry.
• Strong understanding of vehicle repair procedures and bodyshop operations.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Competent IT user with experience of bodyshop management systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
• A collaborative team player with a positive and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the workshop is prepared and operational at the start of each working day.
• Conduct daily team meetings to allocate workloads, communicate targets, and address operational issues.
• Monitor the correct use of equipment, tools, PPE, and uniforms.
• Liaise with senior management regarding workload, vehicle progress, and operational challenges.
• Ensure customers receive accurate updates on repair progress through the management system.
• Order parts and materials in advance to support efficient repair scheduling.
• Manage workshop capacity and vehicle throughput.
• Ensure all repair documentation and imagery are completed accurately.
• Monitor and control stock levels of consumables and materials.
• Maintain quality control throughout all stages of the repair process.
• Drive productivity, efficiency, and profitability within the workshop.

Full Time and Permanent

Hours: 50 hours per week including paid breaks, Monday to Friday, 7:00am -5:00pm
