Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions seeks a BMS Engineer to guarantee the effective operation of the site’s Building Management System and to provide expert support for planned and reactive maintenance. You will work with engineers, team leaders and managers to minimize downtime and boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The role involves completing PPMs, troubleshooting BMS/HVAC issues, and coordinating technical queries while maintaining system reliability and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a BMS engineering/technical role is required.
• A BMS apprenticeship or experience with Johnson Controls Metasys is preferred but training will be provided.
• A good working knowledge of HVAC systems is beneficial.
• Excellent IT skills with networking knowledge; MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint are advantageous.
• FM environment experience is desirable.
• Understanding of current Health and Safety regulations and the ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to meet prescribed service level agreements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive work and maintenance PPMs on the on-site BMS system.
• Complete PPM work orders on time and submit for sign-off by the BMS manager.
• Troubleshoot BMS/HVAC problems and assist site engineering in rectifying faults.
• Coordinate technical queries from site teams and TPC representatives.
• Provide technical service and support for the on-site BMS/HVAC system across the maintenance team.
• Ensure the on-site BMS system is fully operational at all times.
• Support site teams with Technical and Operational BMS/HVAC issues.
• Assist with developing the on-site BMS/HVAC strategy as required.
• Maintain the on-site BMS Networked System and control access.
