Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a BMS Engineer responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of the site’s Building Management System and supporting all BMS/HVAC activities.

You will collaborate with engineers, leaders and managers to maintain uptime, drive efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction. The role involves reactive maintenance, PPM execution, fault diagnosis and development of on-site BMS strategies, with emphasis on delivering uninterrupted building services and strong service

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a BMS engineering/technical role.
• BMS apprenticeship or Metasys experience preferred; training provided.
• Good working knowledge of HVAC systems is beneficial.
• Excellent IT skills with networking knowledge; MS Office familiarity helpful.
• FM environment experience desirable.
• Understanding of Health and Safety regulations; ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to meet prescribed service level agreements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive work and maintenance PPMs to the on-site BMS system.
• Complete PPM work orders on time and sign off with BMS manager.
• Troubleshoot BMS/HVAC problems and assist site engineering in fault rectification.
• Coordinate technical queries from site teams and TPC representatives.
• Provide technical service and support of the on-site BMS/HVAC system for the maintenance team.
• Ensure the on-site BMS system is fully operational at all times.
• Support site teams with BMS/HVAC issues.
• Assist with developing the on-site BMS/HVAC strategy as needed.
• Maintain the on-site BMS Networked System.
• Control access to the on-site BMS System.
• Participate in developing customer service through timely communication.
• Promote FM team culture through teamwork with colleagues and subcontractors.
