Job summary

Wolviston Management Services Ltd is seeking an experienced BMS Support Engineer for a static-site role in Luton, supporting a major healthcare facility. You will maintain Building Management Systems, diagnose faults, and provide reliable service in a critical environment.

The role emphasizes customer-focused fault-finding, relationship-building with site stakeholders, and on-site operation with potential on-call duties. On-site working and a competitive salary are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Building Management Systems (BMS/BEMS).
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of mechanical plant, HVAC systems and building services.
• Excellent communication with customers; able to build relationships.
• Methodical problem solving and investigations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong IT literacy and PC-based software experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on BMS and control systems.
• Diagnose faults and respond to reactive service and breakdown calls.
• Complete minor repairs, adjustments and remedial works.
• Conduct routine system inspections to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Build strong relationships with site stakeholders and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports and technical documentation.
• Identify system improvements, replacements and upgrade opportunities.
• Prepare and raise quotations for additional works where appropriate.
• Support ongoing operation of critical building services and HVAC systems.
