Job summary

BMSI is seeking an experienced Building Management Systems (BMS) Support Engineer for its Southern Region, based at a prestigious customer site in Berkshire. You will join the team reporting to the Regional Operations Manager and play a key role in maintaining and supporting critical BMS technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience in Building Management Systems (BMS/BEMS) industry.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills for complex control systems.
• Good understanding of mechanical plant and building services.
• Experience with Trend and IQ Vision systems.
• Exposure to Siemens, Tridium or Schneider EcoStruxure is beneficial (training provided).
• Strong communication skills to explain technical information to customers.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good IT skills and PC-based software experience.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on Building Management Systems in line with customer service agreements.
• Diagnosing faults and resolving technical issues to maintain system performance and reliability.
• Completing small repairs and remedial works.
• Conducting routine inspections of BMS equipment and associated controls.
• Responding to service calls and supporting customers during system failures or breakdowns.
• Recording maintenance activities, repairs and customer interactions accurately and professionally.
