Job summary

BMSI, part of the Bedrock Systems Group, is seeking an experienced BMS Engineer to join our team at a major healthcare facility in Luton. This is a static site role, offering close work with a key customer and the chance to develop in-depth knowledge of a complex site.

You will perform preventive maintenance on BMS and control systems, diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and maintain records. A full UK driving licence and willingness to participate in on-call rota are required, with training

• Knowledge of Siemens PX and Desigo BMS platforms.
• Full UK driving licence and on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on BMS and control systems.
• Diagnose faults and respond to reactive service calls.
• Complete small repairs and remedial works.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
• Build strong relationships with the customer and provide high levels of service.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Identify replacement or upgrade opportunities and raise engineer field quotations where appropriate.

Are you an experienced BMS Engineer looking for your next challenge?

We're looking for a Support Engineer to join our team at a major healthcare facility in Luton. This is a static site role, giving you the opportunity to work closely with a key customer, develop in-depth knowledge of a complex site, and become a valued part of a highly skilled engineering team.

Please note: This role is based on a customer site in Luton, so applicants should be within a reasonable commuting distance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on BMS and control systems.

• Diagnosing faults and responding to reactive service calls.

• Completing small repairs and remedial works.

• Conducting routine inspections to ensure systems continue to operate efficiently and reliably.

• Building strong relationships with the customer and providing a high level of service.

• Maintaining accurate service records and documentation.

• Identifying replacement or upgrade opportunities and raising engineer field quotations where appropriate.

About You

We're looking for an experienced BMS Engineer who is keen to continue developing their technical knowledge and skills.

Ideally, you'll have experience working with Siemens PX and Desigo BMS systems, as these are the primary platforms used on site. However, we would also welcome applications from experienced BMS Engineers with knowledge of other BMS platforms who are open to learning Siemens, with full training and support provided.

You’ll also have:

• Experience working within the Building Management Systems industry.

• A good understanding of mechanical plant and HVAC systems.

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

• A methodical approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships.

• The ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a wider team.

• Good IT literacy.

• A full UK driving licence.

• Be able to participate in the on-call rota.
