Job summary

BMSI is seeking an experienced Building Management Systems (BMS) Support Engineer to service sites across Scotland, including Dundee and Perth. You’ll diagnose faults, carry out planned maintenance, and deliver clear service reports while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience working in the Building Management Systems (BMS) industry.
• Ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance on Building Management Systems in line with customer service agreements.
• Diagnose faults and identify effective solutions to maintain system performance.
• Undertake small repairs and remedial works.
• Carry out routine inspections of BMS equipment to ensure optimal reliability and efficiency.
• Respond to service and breakdown calls when required.
• Produce clear and accurate service reports, documenting maintenance activities, repairs and customer interactions.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build positive working relationships with clients.
