Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a BMS Service Engineer to cover the Central Belt of Scotland in a mobile, field-based capacity. You will service and optimise building management systems for a diverse portfolio, collaborating with customers and internal teams.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, configure controllers, and support upgrades while upholding safety standards and high service levels.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in BMS, building controls or automation.
• Experience in a customer-facing service environment.
• Good IT skills, including MS Office.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on BMS and control systems.
• Diagnose faults and resolve technical issues.
• Configure and commission controllers and network devices.
• Modify software and maintain system documentation.
• Produce service reports and recommendations.
• Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
• Support upgrade and lifecycle projects.
• Promote OpenBlue and cloud-connected building technologies.
