Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled BMS Service Engineer to cover the Central Belt of Scotland. This mobile role involves working across diverse customer sites to maintain and optimise building management systems and related control networks.

You will diagnose faults, configure controllers, and produce detailed service reports while upholding safety and compliance standards. A UK driving licence and customer-facing experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience within BMS, building controls or automation.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a customer-facing service environment.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on BMS and control systems.
• Diagnose faults and resolve technical issues.
• Configure and commission controllers and network devices.
• Modify software and maintain system documentation.
• Produce service reports and recommendations.
• Build strong customer relationships and act as trusted advisor.
• Support upgrade and lifecycle projects.
• Promote OpenBlue and cloud-connected building technologies.
• Maintain health, safety and compliance standards.
