Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a BMS Service Engineer for a mobile role covering the Central Belt of Scotland, with a focus on Glasgow. You will deliver service excellence across diverse customer sites, maintaining and optimising Building Management Systems while supporting upgrades and OpenBlue initiatives.

The role requires independent work, customer-facing skills and a clean UK driving licence. We offer a competitive salary, company vehicle and extensive training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in BMS, Building Controls or Automation.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a customer-facing service environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on BMS and control systems.
• Diagnose faults and resolve technical issues.
• Configure and commission controllers and network devices.
• Modify software and maintain system documentation.
• Produce service reports and recommendations.
• Build strong customer relationships and act as trusted advisor.
• Support upgrade and lifecycle projects.
• Promote OpenBlue and cloud-connected building technologies.
• Maintain high health, safety and compliance.
