Job summary

Nordomatic is seeking an experienced BMS Service Engineer for our Manchester office. The role requires working with Trend BMS controllers and relevant certifications or training.

You will test, calibrate and operate BMS products, diagnose faults and prepare maintenance and survey reports for building energy systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with BMS products and associated control elements.
• Knowledge of BMS software interrogation and fault finding.
• Ability to carry out condition surveys and write reports.

Responsibilities

• Undertake testing, calibration and operation of BMS products and control elements such as sensors, valves and dampers.
• Operate and test control panels including power circuits.
• Perform BMS software interrogation and fault diagnosis.
• Repair control panels, instrumentation, actuators and DDC controls.
• Modify control panels and controller settings as required.
• Carry out condition surveys of plant and controls.
• Prepare and write maintenance and survey reports.

The role will require experience working on Trend BMS controllers, and hold associated certification or training.

What will I be doing?

• Undertake the testing, calibration and operation of BMS products and associated control elements such as sensors, valves, dampers etc
• To operate and test control panels including power circuits
• Undertake BMS software interrogation
• Handle fault finding, diagnosis and repair of control panels, instrumentation, actuators, BMS DDC controls and in some cases plant and services
• Responsibility for control panel modifications, controller changes
• Carry out condition surveys of plant and controls
• Prepare and write maintenance and survey reports
