Job summary

Alecto Recruitment is working on a superb opportunity within the BMS industry to join one of the UK's leading, employee‑owned engineering companies. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and on-site service of building management systems across commercial sites; you will carry out small repairs and routine inspections to ensure optimal HVAC plant operation.

Candidates should have proven experience with BMS fault finding and maintenance, ideally Trend or IQ Vision, and

Qualifications

• Experience servicing, maintaining and fault finding BMS across sites.
• Ideally familiar with Trend and IQ Vision platforms.
• Electrical qualifications and HVAC plant understanding are essential.

Responsibilities

• Undertake preventative maintenance and diagnosis on BMS systems on sites.
• Carry out small repairs and remedial works as needed.
• Provide routine inspections of BMS equipment and documentation.
• Respond to customer service call outs and ensure quick restoration of service.
• Complete service and repairs to BMS systems across locations.

The Role

• As a BMS Engineer you will be responsible for undertaking preventative maintenance and diagnosis on building control systems
• Carry out small repairs and remedial works
• Provide routine inspections of BMS equipment
• Respond to customer service call outs
• Complete service and repairs to BMS Systems on sites.

Requirements

• We are seeking an experienced Building management systems engineer (BMS)
• You will be experienced in the service, maintenance, fault finding, repairs of Building management systems
• Ideally experienced working on Trend systems. Trend IQ Vision
• Any experience on systems such as: Tridium, Distech, Schneider would be an advantage
• Electrical skills / qualifications
• Strong understanding of HVAC Plant rooms and associated plant
