The role

We're looking for a dynamic and motivated BMS Project Sales Specialist to join our growing Smart Buildings team at SSE Energy Solutions. This role offers an opportunity to lead in delivering smart, energy-efficient solutions across London and the South East. As the face of our BMS Project Sales, you'll work with clients to promote cutting-edge building technology that enhances sustainability and performance.

You will

  • Develop and implement a tailored sales strategy to increase BMS project revenue in your territory.
  • Build strong relationships with consultants, contractors, architects, and building owners to generate leads and identify opportunities.
  • Manage a robust sales pipeline, consistently meeting monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and marketing teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Report on pipeline health, conversion metrics, and industry insights to support strategic growth.

You have

  • Experience in B2B sales within the Building Management Systems industry.
  • A passion for sustainability and the role of intelligent building technology in creating a greener future.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proven skills in relationship-building and negotiation to influence stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with BMS platforms like Trend, Siemens, or Honeywell is desirable but not essential.
